In this entirely asynchronous course, students will work at their own pace through online modules. Modules will introduce students to essential resources and support, refresh academic skills, and explain expectations and policies.
PH701 Protections of Human Research Participants
PH701 fulfills Dartmouth’s professional ethics requirement for all first-year graduate students. The course opens in Canvas on June 2 and must be completed by June 29.
**PH110 Public Health Foundations Course
The PH110 Public Health Foundations course is about 25 hours of work (0.25 units). This course is entirely online and asynchronous. Although there are no class sessions and students can choose when to do the work, there will be intermediate deadlines. Specifically, assignments are due each Sunday. Students may work at their own pace during each week or submit assignments early for later weeks. We recognize incoming students have various backgrounds and experiences in public health, so this course provides a broad background on basic public health concepts so that you can take a deeper dive into the material throughout the program.
