Admitted Student Checklist: On-Campus Programs
Welcome to Dartmouth! We're thrilled that you have decided to join our community of healthcare change agents and are looking forward to meeting you this summer. See below for a list of action items to work on during the next few months, and please reach out to us by email with any questions.
After you have confirmed your enrollment, a Dartmouth NetID and email will be generated for you. A confirmation email with this information will be sent to your email address, which we have on file and have been corresponding with previously. Once you receive the confirmation email with this information, please follow the steps provided regarding setting a password for your account and enrolling in Duo - a second means of authenticating your identity for accessing campus systems.
Future communications will be delivered to your Dartmouth email before classes begin. Please claim your account as soon as possible.
About Dartmouth email addresses
Students will have access to their dartmouth.edu account throughout their time as a student. Around graduation, you will have the option to keep your Dartmouth email as a forwarding address only.
If you experience issues accessing a specific Dartmouth system, please visit https://login.dartmouth.edu from a fresh/incognito web browser to test your login. If you receive another error message there, please report that error and your Dartmouth NetID to Dartmouth Computing. One of our technicians will assist you in getting your account functioning.
Use this checklist to prepare your computer: Dartmouth Computing Requirements
To apply for federal student loan eligibility, all students need to complete the following two steps:
1) File the FAFSA. Dartmouth's school code is 002573
2) Submit the Dartmouth College Graduate Student Financial Aid Application
We recommend that you submit these forms as soon as possible to ensure the timely processing of your materials. We need both forms to generate the official award package. Please visit Dartmouth's Financial Aid website for more information.

Health insurance
All Dartmouth College students are required to have health insurance that meets specific standards of coverage.
If you need the coverage provided by Dartmouth College’s Student Group Health Plan, you can simply skip this step and the plan’s premium will be billed to your student account.
If you have existing health insurance coverage and want to continue with that coverage, you MUST complete the online insurance waiver or you will automatically be enrolled in the Dartmouth Student Group Health Plan (DSGHP) and be required to pay the insurance premium. The waiver is due July 1 to avoid late fees. Instructions and the form waiver are at dartgo.org/studentinsurance.

1) Each student must provide a health care provider completed Dartmouth Graduate Immunization Form, or a copy of your immunization record obtained from your home doctor, prior school, or military.
2) Each student must provide a completed Tuberculosis Screening/Testing Form.
3) Each student must complete a series of Online Health Forms accessed through the 'Health Services Forms' link on your Banner account.
Please review the Graduate Student Requirements here for more information.
You will receive an email from our Registrar with instructions for claiming credentials and accessing the OVIS portal/iDartmouth system.
Students have 14 days to arrive in the U.S. after the program start date. If they don't arrive within 14 days, they will be unenrolled from the program.
Dartmouth Real Estate Unfurnished Rentals:
Dartmouth College offers a variety of rental housing for students—all of our available rental listings are posted and applied for online: https://realestate.dartmouth.edu/dartmouth-rentals (search listings for Dartmouth College graduate students from the toggle buttons at the top of the page).
Close to the hustle of the Dartmouth campus and downtown Hanover and close to public transportation, are great housing options in Sachem Village, Summit on Juniper, and The Marek South.
You can follow the Dartmouth Real Estate office on Twitter or Facebook to receive updates when we post new listings online. We post listings as they come available to us so new rentals can come up at any moment during the work week (Mon-Fri 8AM-4PM).
Looking for roommates? Connect with current students about housing, or team up with your new classmates!
Visit the Admitted Students Facebook group to connect with current students and incoming students about roommate opportunities.
Other Housing Options:
For a more extensive array of rental housing options, there are non-Dartmouth owned rentals. You can search the Upper Valley Rentals list: https://realestate.dartmouth.edu/dartmouth-rentals. These properties are managed independently and feature a wide variety of properties. Please reach out to the landlords and contacts on the listings directly with any questions or requests to view the property.
There is also Dartlist (http://www.dartlist.com/) which is Dartmouth’s version of Craigslist. If you look under Housing you can often find other rentals not listed elsewhere on here. There is Craigslist https://nh.craigslist.org/ and there are other local landlords such as Purcell Properties, Emerson Place, Timberwood Commons, and Stone Farm. You can also check with local realtors (such as Coldwell Banker Lifestyles and Four Seasons Sotheby’s) for any available rentals through their offices.
We look forward to hearing from you! When you are ready to take the next steps, all the information you need to know for enrolling is located within your personalized account. You can log in to your account at the link below with your username and password.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our Office of Education by email at Geisel.MPH.MS.Admissions@dartmouth.edu. We would be happy to assist you in any way.
