Dartmouth Institute MPH Student Spotlight: Joshua Gonzalez
As a manager in Aetna’s Corporate Development department, Joshua “Josh” Gonzalez has a broad portfolio of responsibilities. He and his colleagues perform the due diligence, financial analysis, legal documentation, and negotiation of terms for all acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and new entity creation for Aetna domestically and internationally. He also works in Aetna Ventures—a growth capital fund dedicated to investing in healthcare technology and digital health companies. Gonzalez’s background is not strictly corporate though, before joining Aetna he served for two years as a missionary for the LDS Church in the Calabarzon region of the Philippines.
