Health Data Science is a crucial, rapidly growing field, blending biostatistics, programming, and advanced computational and classification algorithms like machine learning to address complex challenges within the biomedical, biobehavioral, public health, and clinical care sectors. The program includes coursework to build essential skills in programming, biostatistics, ML, and AI modeling to wrangle, analyze, and interpret the complex data encountered within biomedical research and healthcare delivery, including structured and unstructured data, intensively collected data, big data, imaging data, omics, and more.

There are no specific undergraduate degree requirements. Although not required, this program suggests familiarity in: Computer Programming, and Statistics.
