MS in Healthcare Research – Residential
2026–2027 tuition: $82,232 per year.
The residential MS in Healthcare Research is an 11-month program consisting of four terms. Full-time students pay tuition in four equal installments.
MS in Epidemiology – Residential
2026–2027 tuition: $68,508 per year.
The residential MS programs are 12-month programs consisting of four terms. Students who choose to complete the Capstone project may incur an additional tuition charge for a fifth term.
MS in Health Data Science – Residential
2026–2027 tuition: $68,508 per year.

Students are billed for tuition each term in which they are enrolled in courses, with payment due before the term begins.
MS in Implementation Science – Online
2026–2027 tuition: $30,633 per year.
Students may enroll full-time or half-time. Tuition is billed each term based on enrollment.

Scholarships & Financial Aid
Dartmouth is committed to making graduate education more affordable. In the 2025–2026 academic year, 94% of enrolled students received a loan or scholarship.
Does Dartmouth offer scholarships?
Yes. Dartmouth offers merit-based scholarships to eligible graduate students. All applicants are considered for merit-based scholarships regardless of citizenship status. Students do not need to submit a separate scholarship application.
Merit scholarship funding is limited and may not fully cover a student’s financial need. Scholarship recipients are typically notified at the time of admission.
How are Dartmouth scholarships paid?
Dartmouth merit scholarships are distributed equally across each term of enrollment. The total scholarship award is divided evenly among the terms in which the student is enrolled.
Are international students eligible for Dartmouth merit scholarships?
Yes. Applicants are considered for merit-based scholarships regardless of citizenship status. Scholarship funds are limited and are awarded based on the merit criteria described above.

Private & Federal Educational Loans
Dartmouth graduate students may use private educational loans to help pay for some or all of their educational costs.
Where can I find Dartmouth’s private educational loan options?
Explore options from Dartmouth’s Lender List and apply with your chosen lender. Once approved, the lender will notify us to certify your loan amount. The amount you can borrow is limited to the Total Cost of Attendance, less any other aid awarded.
What are the federal student loan application requirements?
To apply for federal student loans, graduate students must complete the FAFSA using Dartmouth’s School Code 002573 and submit the Dartmouth Graduate Financial Aid Application. Loan eligibility, borrowing limits, interest rates, fees, and additional requirements vary by program and enrollment status and may change each academic year. How much can I borrow through a private educational loan?
