Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine Appoints Craig Westling as Associate Dean for Health Sciences Education
Sonia Nagy Chimienti, MD, FIDSA, Dean of Educational Affairs at Dartmouth’s Geisel School of Medicine, announced the appointment of Craig Westling, DrPH, MPH, MS, as the school’s inaugural Associate Dean for Health Sciences Education.

Richard J. Powell, MD, Appointed to Anna Gundlach Huber Professorship at Geisel School of Medicine
Richard Powell, MD, a professor of surgery and of radiology at Geisel School of Medicine, and director of the Dartmouth Health Heart and Vascular Center, has been named the Anna Gundlach Huber Professor in Medicine at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth for a five-year term that began in January 2024.

Wennberg Distinguished Professor in Health Policy and Clinical Practice and director of The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice at Geisel, graduated from the Hedwig van Ameringen Executive Leadership in Academic Medicine® (ELAM®) program.
